# What is found-only billing?

Found-only billing means you pay for a contact only when the tool returns an email or phone, and pay nothing when it comes back empty.

By Invenitor team. Updated 2026-11-01.

## How does Invenitor apply it?

A contact is 1 credit (₹2), charged only when an email or phone comes back. Opening the same person again is free. A search is 20 credits (₹40) and is free if it finds nobody.

## How do you check other tools?

Read how the vendor treats an empty result, and how it treats a repeat lookup. The [pricing table](https://invenitor.com/research) records what vendors publish, and marks where they say nothing.
