A hiring contact lookup API for India desks
You already have a name. You need an email or phone when one exists — billed in INR, not another USD people-search seat.

A coordinator at a Bengaluru hiring desk — call her Kavya Rao, a fictional example — keeps a spreadsheet of engineers she already spoke to. Names are not the problem. Finding a reachable email without guessing one is.
Invenitor is a contact lookup API for that job. You send a full name and, when you have it, a public profile URL. You get email, phone, and links if we found them. If we did not, those fields are empty. We do not invent addresses.
Contact information, on demand. Empty means we did not find it.
What this API is for
Use it when a hiring tool, agency desk, or internal script already knows who to look up. Typical inputs: a candidate name from an application, plus a profile URL the candidate published.
• Hiring tools that need a contact field filled from a name.
• Agencies that pay in rupees and do not want a USD-per-seat database.
• Builders wiring a lookup into an existing workflow.
It is not a CRM, not an ATS, and not an email sequencer. It does not store your hiring pipeline. It answers one lookup at a time.
What you send, and what you get
POST a full name. Add a profile URL when you have one. That usually improves results because it narrows which public page we should trust.
Kavya looks up “Rohan Iyer” (also fictional) with a profile URL on example.com/profiles/rohan-iyer. The response may include a primary email, other public contacts, and links. If nothing public matched, email and phone stay empty. That is a completed lookup, not a failure of the HTTP call.
Request and response shapes live on the docs page. The dashboard playground is the fastest way to try one name before you wire a key.
India pricing, not a USD seat
| Plan | Price | Credits |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | ₹99 | 20 |
| Growth | ₹399 | 80 |
| Scale | ₹999 | 200 |
Self-serve monthly plans are Starter ₹99 (20 credits), Growth ₹399 (80), and Scale ₹999 (200). There is no free plan. Payments are INR through Razorpay (UPI, cards, netbanking, wallets).
• One completed lookup costs one credit.
• REST find is on every monthly plan.
• MCP for agents is on monthly plans unless we turn a plan off.
• Enterprise is a conversation with hello@invenitor.com — not a checkout button.
If you are comparing rupee checkout to a USD people-search invoice, read INR vs USD people-search APIs.
A credit is a finished lookup
A credit is not a “hit.” Empty fields still spend if the find finished. Timeouts and errors do not. The full rule is in What a lookup credit is.
How this fits next to an ATS
Keep Greenhouse, Lever, or a homegrown tracker as the system of record. Call Invenitor when you need a contact that is not already on the profile. Write the result back yourself. We will not replace your pipeline, stages, or interview calendar.
Questions people actually ask
Is this an email finder for anyone on the internet?
No. You bring a name, and preferably a profile URL. We return contacts we found. We do not sell a browseable people database.
Do you invent an address when nothing is public?
No. Empty fields mean not found. See we do not invent emails.
Can I pay in USD?
Self-serve checkout is INR. That is the point for India desks. Enterprise billing is a conversation, not a second public catalogue.
Is there a free trial?
No. There is no free plan or trial.
Does a lookup replace my ATS?
No. Invenitor is a lookup API. Your ATS stays the hiring system of record.
Who do I email?
hello@invenitor.com. Phone +91 80 4680 8800. Grievance Officer is the title on /contact — not a personal name.

INR vs USD: people-search tools for India hiring
Most people-search products sell USD seats. Invenitor sells INR monthly plans and credits for a lookup API — not a CRM.

What a lookup credit is (and is not)
One credit per completed find. Empty email still spends. Timeouts do not. Monthly credits reset; packs last a year.

MCP for hiring agents: lookup without a fake CRM
Monthly Invenitor plans include REST and remote MCP. Agents call find with a name and optional profile URL. Same credit rule.
