How Invenitor credits work, with worked examples

Invenitor credits cost ₹2 each, a search costs 20 credits for up to 100 people and is free if it finds nobody, and a contact costs 1 credit only when an email or phone comes back.

What does each action cost?

There are only two things that spend credits. Everything else in your account is free.

ActionCostWhen it is free
People search20 credits (₹40)When it finds nobody
Contact (email, phone, or both)1 credit (₹2)When no email or phone comes back, or when you open the same person again
Reading past searches, your contacts or your shortlistsFreeAlways

The live numbers are public at https://api.invenitor.com/api/pricing, and on the pricing page. If any number on this page ever differs from them, the live numbers are correct.

How do you buy credits?

You buy prepaid packs in rupees, starting from 25 credits for ₹50. There is no subscription and no monthly fee, so nothing renews on its own. You pay with UPI or cards through Razorpay. You are asked for invoice details only when you buy, and a GSTIN is optional.

New accounts get 25 free credits once, with no card. Signing up takes a Google account and one WhatsApp number. The number is there to keep free credits fair, as each person gets them once.

Very large volume is a conversation rather than a checkout, so write to hello@invenitor.com if you need that.

How far do the credits go?

These examples assume that every contact you open comes back with an email or phone, which is the most you could pay. Contacts that come back empty cost nothing, so your real bill can be lower.

WhoWhat they doCreditsCost
Someone testing it1 search, then 5 contacts25Free, using signup credits
A freelancer in a typical month2 searches, then 20 contacts60₹120
A founder doing outreach4 searches, then 60 contacts140₹280

Work out your own numbers with the credit cost calculator. You choose the found share yourself, since Invenitor does not publish a hit rate.

When do credits expire?

Credits last 30 days from when you get them. That is a real limit, and it is the main thing to plan around. Signup credits and purchased credits follow the same rule. When you hold more than one batch, the credits that expire soonest are spent first.

So buy for the work in front of you. If you run one search and open ten people a month, ₹60 worth of credits will cover it, and a large pack would expire unused. If you need a lot of credits over a long period, buy in several smaller packs.

Other tools handle this differently. Some reset every month, and some roll over while you stay subscribed. See the pricing table for what each vendor publishes.

What are you actually paying for in a search?

You pay for one search and you see up to 100 people. Each has their role, company and links, and sometimes experience and skills. You then sort them and shortlist those you like. Viewing them costs nothing extra. Your account keeps each search for 30 days, so you can return to it without paying again.

Contacts are separate because most people do not want all hundred. You choose who is worth contacting, and you pay only for those. Once opened, a contact stays in your Contacts, and opening it again is free. You never pay twice for the same person.

Timeouts and errors do not spend credits. If a charge looks wrong, write to hello@invenitor.com.

Can you get a refund?

Prepaid packs are not refunded. Unused credits and a change of mind do not create a refund. If the same payment is captured twice, the duplicate is reversed. Read the Terms for the exact wording.

That is why the free credits matter. Try a real search first, using 25 free credits, before you buy anything. If the people it finds are not useful, you have lost nothing. To compare costs with other tools, use the cost comparison tool, or read what a credit means across tools.

Does the same pricing apply to the API and MCP?

Yes. The app, the REST API and MCP share one balance and one set of prices. Teammates can share one credit pool too. See the API guide and the MCP guide.

Credits only pay for finding people. Invenitor does not send messages for you, so there are no email credits or sending fees to think about. You write to people yourself, from your own email or phone.

Common questions

What happens to my credits after 30 days?
They expire. Credits with the soonest expiry are spent first, so plan your purchases around the work you have this month.
Is there a monthly plan?
No. You buy packs when you need them, and nothing renews.
